We held our first meeting of the year at the flash Cancer Research offices in Angel with a couple of brilliant presentations.
First up the team from Dementia Revolution (ARUK and AS in old money) showed us how they secured the Virgin Money Charity of the year, which for those of you paying attention know, comes with a certain London Marathon partnership. They talked us through what they have planned for the big day in April.
Next up the team at MC&C wowed the crowds with a glimpse at what we could be doing differently in digital. There were some audible gasps and furious note-taking throughout.
Our thanks to Nina, Julia, Jade, Christian and Fliss plus of course Sam for hosting. You can see the presentations via the blog link.

2019 London Marathon Charity of the Year
As Charity of the Year for the 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon, Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer’s Research UK are joining forces for a year-long campaign to power groundbreaking dementia research, overthrow old attitudes and lead the charge towards a cure. Their digital approach is a unique opportunity to power the most ambitious dementia research endeavour the UK has ever seen – the UK Dementia Research Institute.
Sadly a mix up with diaries meant we missed out on Tom but he’ll be back to an EMF meeting near you soon.
Tom will be sharing some thoughts from the latest work at 383, a digital agency which focuses on ensuring great user experience for it’s clients. Tom will be describing how the sector as a whole could benefit from innovation and a greater digital footprint.
